Nature recording Walk
Come along and join us from 9:30am, we will be recording all kinds of species with a group of local enthusiasts of nature. You don’t need to have any special knowledge to enjoy one of these walks and you could learn a lot from those who do. We plan on carrying out surveys on the 3rd Sunday each month. From March through the summer this will include the monthly bumblebee survey. From November to February, we will be meeting at the Milton Creek Country Park Gas Road entrance ME10 2QB
Creekside Litter Pick
Meet at Gas Road entrance by SWEEEP ME10 2QB
Come and take part in one of our regular clean-ups of Milton Creek to collect and remove the accumulated rubbish along the footpath and Creek edge between Gas Road and Church Field Wharf. It’s a job that is well worth doing, we need to keep the creek clean to encourage more Seals to come and enjoy the space as well as us humans.
Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for grubby, wet conditions. Litter pickers, gloves and rubbish sacks will be provide. Please let us know if you are coming, email miltoncreek@swale.gov.uk
Amphibian Surveys

Bring wellies and a torch and learn more about what is happening in our ponds.
Children under 16 are welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Meet at Green Porch Close.
