Out to the Woods CIC is pleased to be offering monthly nature connection inter-generational sessions to bring different members of the community together.
These sessions will be run in and around Milton Creek Country Park
Creekside Litter Pick
Meet at Gas Road entrance by SWEEEP ME10 2QB
Come and take part in one of our regular clean-ups of Milton Creek to collect and remove the accumulated rubbish along the footpath and Creek edge between Gas Road and Church Field Wharf. It’s a job that is well worth doing, we need to keep the creek clean to encourage more Seals to come and enjoy the space as well as us humans.
Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for grubby, wet conditions. Litter pickers, gloves and rubbish sacks will be provide. Please let us know if you are coming, email miltoncreek@swale.gov.uk
Amphibian Surveys
Come along and search for amphibians including great crested newts.
Bring wellies and a torch and learn more about what is happening in our ponds.
Children under 16 are welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Silver Jewellery Making Workshop
Come and spend a mindful morning in a beautiful country park setting learning how to make your very own silver jewellery. Using the magical medium that is Silver Clay, you’ll learn how to make moulds of nature, You will finish off by burnishing and polishing your piece, ready to wear home or gift.
